ingredients:
* 500g minced beef
* 4 garlic cloves-1 diced for the meat mix and the other 3 slice on the top of the dish.
* 4 spoon breadcrumbs
* 1/4bunch chopped of each: parsley, dill and cilantro
* 1 egg beaten
* Salt and ground black pepper
* 2 tbsp olive oil -for the sauté
* celery- cut into cubes
* 2 cups Peas -I used frozen one
* ½ tsp each ground turmeric, cumin(half in the meat and half spread on the top of the dish)
* 1 ½ cups water
* 3½ tbsp lemon juice& 3-4 Lemon slices(as in the post picture’s)
* 1/4 cup vermicelli pasta
Instructions:
In a bowl, use your hands to mix the beef, breadcrumbs, all the green leaves, egg, garlic, half from the Spices(the rest will be spread over the dish), half a teaspoon of salt & black pepper. Form the kebab to about the size of Ping pong ball and then roll in the vermicelli pasta (it’s an option)
Heat the oil in a large sauté pan and sear the celery, garlic peas and remaining spices add the meatball
Cook on high heat, stirring, for two minutes, squeeze the lemon juice,lemon slices half a teaspoon of salt & some black pepper and the water. Bring to a boil, turn down the heat, cover and simmer gently for 25 minutes.
Remove the pan from the heat and let it sit for a few minutes to settle. Taste, season as necessary and serve with sprinkling of cilantro or parsley.
