Ingredients
•4 chicken breasts
•2 spoons ketchup
•1/2 lemon juice
•1 clove garlic, crushed
•2 tbsp soy sauce
•2 tbsp honey/date syrup/Maple syrup
•black pepper
•3 tbsp olive oil
•A little vegetable oil for frying
* You can add any kind of spices that you like! Such as dry Oregano, Basil,Smoked paprika etc.
Instructions:
1. Cut and fllaten the chicken breasts slightly with knife to about 1.5cm (1/2 in) thick.
2. In a bowl or in ziplock mix together all of the ingredients for the marinade, add the chicken and marinate for at least one hour(you don’t have to wait if you don’t have time)
3. Heat the frying pan until really hot,brush with a little oil and cook the chicken for 5 minutes on each side or until cooked through. if you want this beautiful lines make sure not move the chicken breast while you fry them
4. I always like to serve with a selection of griddled vegetables like:zucchini,mushrooms,jalapeño peppers, onions, Eggplants… usually I’m putting the vegetables in the chicken breast sauce leftover and then frying them in the same pan.
